Born on 27th March 2006, this handsome dark brown colt out of Elite Mayfair is sired by the great Weltmeyer who needs no introduction to those passionate about dressage.

After winning his Stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf and competing successfully at the Bundeschampionate, Weltmeyer went on to become one of the best known Hanoverian stallions of all time. Due to his achievements in both competition and as a breeding stallion, he was awarded 'Hanoverian Stallion of the Year' although some would argue that it should be 'the Century'! Weltmeyer's progeny all have one thing in common which is a wonderful hock action, instantly cleanly forward and under the centre of gravity
As you would expect, Wangelis moves with tremendous power from behind but he has also inherited the elevation and elegance of his mother and is very correct.
His dam, Elite Mayfair, is a very elegant horse with a tremendous temperament. Following a season in dressage competition when she qualified for both the Winter and Summer Regional Finals, she became Champion of the 2002 British Hanoverian Horse Society Mare Performance Test where she was one of only two mares on the day to be awarded 'Elite' status.
Wangelis has been well handled and has an excellent nature. He has full pink papers, is branded and eligible to go forward for stallion grading.
